A New Image…
It seems the polls have spoken - but the decision is up to us, and belive us, it was a tough decision. First of all let us say what a wonderful competition this has been! We have seen some amazing skills and submissions represented and we want to thank everyone who submitted a design.
We could not make up our mind 100%, so we decided to give a first and second place. First place will still receive the full prize money and if the second place accepts, we offer them half of the prize money. If you are the developer of one of the winning submissions, please contact us info(at)freeCSScart(dot)com. So the winners are…
First Place
We agreed with the voters and #4 is our first place winner!

Second Place
We absolutely loved this persons submissions and would like to use these logo’s as well. Thus, the second place winner is…

Congrats to the winners!

hi nice site.
http://google.com
I *KNEW* #4 would win because it’s very web 2.0, but to me I thought it was so cliché - the light rays on the backdrop, the cart shadow and of course it can’t be web 2.0-esque without a big orange badge. It’s beautiful but this type of web 2.0 design is too common and typical already that it has reached its saturation point. I mean you can still look web2.0 but these identities and specific aesthetic designs are overused.
Did you guys recieve the artwork alright?
Right on! It was a #$%^&*() to decide which artwork should win. I voted for #4 and thought #1 was a very close second. I thought #4 was so simple and telling that nothing else could touch it. #4 is what we are all searching for when we take on a client.
the best one won, it looks brilliant i have to say!
Correct Eric, it is Myriad Web, but it is only available on adobe installations on mac, as far as I am aware.
Travis, if you didn’t find out yet, the typeface is Myriad (an adobe font) so you probably have it.
Did you guys get my email? I was wondering if you could send me the vector text, or tell me what the typeface is. As soon as i get that i will send the logo right over.
Well, on our site… within a couple of weeks. On the software as soon as it is launched, the new image will be all over it!
when do you plan on using the new design?
How can i get free CSS Cart software? Please send me link for that and i want to know more about this cssCart.
I agree with Jon .. Great job
bah! Just kidding. congratulations, I wish I would’ve known about this competition earlier, just had 1 day to prepare the 2 logos I submitted.
Anyway, where’s the software?
Definitely the best choice. Very nice!
congrats travis!
