Logo Competition!

A competition of gargantuan proportions! We want to offer anyone the chance of creating a logo for freeCSScart. So if you are interested, read on.
Overview:
Very simple. We love our existing logo! We love it a lot! But we realized it is missing an image to go with it. So, we want to give anyone who is interested, a chance to design a logo for a grand prize of $300! But, we want to keep our existing freeCSScart text part of the logo. So the objective is to create an image to go with the existing text logo. If you need inspiration or a couple of ideas, go to LogoPond. We like their taste.
Rules:
- The winner will be decided by the freeCSScart development team.
- The grand prize will only be rewarded if the logo is accepted by the freeCSScart team.
- All entries must be posted here in the forum.
- All entries must be submitted before September 15th, 2006.
If you would like more info, feel free to post your questions in the Logo Competition forum.

I unfortunately have had to delete a couple of comments due to the nature of the words. We are not against people speaking thier mind, in fact, we are all for it, just please do not use vulgar language and be kind about it.
so why delete the other guy’s comment that was up yesterday if you’re so proud of screwing working designers? Don’t you get that there’s a designer out there not getting paid because you’re offering this contest. Check out nospec.com
I have to say too, a designer who does spec work loses a lot of respect from a lot of people, including clients like FreeCSSCart who will use you again and again without paying you much if anything at all. It’s not a sweet deal in the professional long term realm, lying on your back like that.
“helping out” is one thing - to do pro bono work for a reputable organization - as the sole designer - but you’re not doing that. You’re prostituting yourself among a multitude of others doing the same. If it’s fun, it’s only momentary because you could be getting paid elsewhere for the time you’re wasting on a freebie.
I am a designer, and I am not offended. I don’t (usually) get “offended” when people ask for help.
That’s just “me” though…
I’ll submit a “design”. Looks “like” FUN!
Sweet deal for me!
Sorry you feel that way…
We have had about 5 e-mails a day asking how they can help with the development process. But since there really is no way as of right now to help, we came up with the logo competition. If your offended, then don’t submit a design. You ruin it for the others who will jump at the chance and have fun!
Let’s see if this I have this right: You get a large number of (I assume) talented, quality designers to bust their tail to give you a stellar logo - for FREE. You then pick and choose the ones you like while they bite their nails waiting for a “winner”. Then, you can decide you don’t need any of them and no one gets anything? I’ll bet you’ll reserve the right to go ahead and use any of these logos anyway, whether you choose a “winner” or not. Sweet deal for you.
